Robbie joined Bryan G Hall in January 2013, after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering in 2011. He now has more than 9 years experience in transport planning and engineering with Bryan G Hall and is a member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation.
Robbie works on a variety of transport planning and design projects and is experienced in the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Access and Site Appraisals and providing feasibility advice on a wide variety of schemes, including residential, employment, retail and mixed use. As part of this work, he undertakes operational junction assessments, site access appraisals and layout reviews, site sustainability assessments and site reconnaissance work. He also prepares Designer’s Responses to Road Safety Audits undertaken on schemes he has designed, and he is experienced in post-planning detailed design work and the use of AutoCAD, including the preparation of drawings for Section 278 agreements for schemes within the adopted highway.
He has been involved in a large number of successful planning applications throughout his time at Bryan G Hall and he understands the importance issue of sustainability. This includes sustainable access to sites by all modes of travel and he is proficient in the use of the accessibility software package ‘TRACC’.
Outside of work, Robbie’s interests include Formula 1, football, skiing, recycling, music and playing guitar.
